I need your experience out there,
I have a Seve Step Velocity 22 Kevlar from 1994. What is the most common combination method with Kevlar?
Is it Epoxy or Polyester?
Anyone who got cantact details to Steve Step?
Cheers Patrik.

My advice is to call the factory (this phone number is on their website: 407-322-7770) and ask to speak with Kenny or Steve, have your hull identification number ready, and they will be happy to give you a history of your boat. I did it for mine...they told me that my 2004 Velocity220 was laid up with S-glass and vinylester; they also gave me a list of options that were included.
The hook in the pad wasn't visible like on the chines where you could actually see it. Chris said there was a hook in my pad also. That was taken out. It still didn't get on top of the pad anyway. It rode very wet and I never got out of the mid 70's with that boat. It also got water logged quick.
I tried several props when it was new and none really made much difference. I also tried different heights and setbacks. It was a low 70's boat no matter what. Someone from Nevada bought it. It should be dry now. I never heard back from him. I sold it on here and told him it was water logged. It still looked and ran great. Just not fast!
Hey Bob
Got your message. Good to see ya on the Velocity thread.
I thought you got almost 80 out of it the day Chris let you try one of his Choppers?

Let me know if you want to try that cleaver. I actually have a couple you could try. I have the labed Merc 14 x 28 and I also have a 14.5 x 28 Mazco OS labed cleaver. No big deal to bring them and if you have a light lay up they may work for you. I'm not looking to sell any of these but your welcome to try and see what works on your boat.
Got the last room at the flip, leaving early sat morning and gonna head home sun
Thats awesome!!!!!!!! Going to be a good time.
James- I will let you know on those props as soon as I get to try that chopper I have. If that has way too much bowlift then I will try out your cleavers!
I know this isnt velocity content but i took this on my way back from the beach this morning. Most of the video was rolling at about 60 mph, no traction in gears 1-4

Sounds good, maybe i can get a ride on one of these velocities, sounds like you guys have them hummin.
We got them running pretty good but nothing compared to your boat. I wana see what Chris M thinks of the way your rig goes. You get over 100 out of it don't you?
No way, hi 60's on a good day!

Guess we will see at the romp, slowaction what day are you leaving to go up there?
Since, as talented as I am :D, I probably won't have both of my boats there on the same day, we should set a date and time to get all the Velocitys together for a run and photo op
slowaction, you bringing the velocity or the action?
I finally got around to getting a frame for my boatpix pictures. Here is my favorite shot, only 4 months till the romp
