ALVA RIVER RUN 2022 AND BARBECUE DATES

July 15th and 16th

Friday night get together at The Boat House in Fort Myers for drinks and dinner then Saturday night barbecue, Saturday night address will be posted 1 week before run!

Friday running to Roland's for lunch leaving Alva ramp at 10 and Saturday running between the locks and hanging out at the island!

I know it depends on how fast everyone runs but about how long does it take to get to Roland martins from Alva?

Takes a about 2 hours, a little different every run. Most of the time the speed you're going isn't super important because everybody gets held up at the locks.

I'm trying to figure out which equipment to bring along. I might set up to do more video this time around, but if enough people want photos I'll bring that equipment as well.

Fun day running with people and watching passes. I would like to see more jackets being used....Held my breath on more then one occasion watching the Lake & Bays and Actions perform their dance moves across the wakes. Looking forward to seeing pictures and video.

I was there on Saturday and it was so much fun. Joe, I wish I saw you there, but I was on the pontoon boat most of the time shooting photos. Those guys put on an incredible event!
I shot a lot of photos as usual, and I will be posting them up shortly. Big thank you to Nic Hill for letting me use his pontoon as a photo boat. It was just awesome seeing all of you there!
