That thing looks pretty fresh...I'd like to see it in person. However, I don't know if that would be a good idea with all the projects I need to get my a$$ moving on. That title might have been registered with an incorrect length; all Vectors should be 17'1". That one in particular would be a great starting point for a resto with gel in that good of shape. D.ONEAL is the original owner of this boat and he is pushing for an XS on the Vegas. Based off doing some research, I don't think the boat will need a lot of set-back with the weight of an XS. The boat originally had a 200 Looper on it, so when it's done it should be within reason of what the old set up was. The boat overall is probably the same weight as it was prior to the core work due to the thick transom and knee structure that were added. Looking at the XT bottom without the sub-floor really is a huge difference from any V-bottom. The core in an XT or even YT for that matter, is minimal compared to a V-bottom. With big stringers, stringer supports, and transom knee's running up to the underside of the splash-well, this Vegas should have zero structural issues ever.Quote:
