The first M31 w/ 860s has run a much better # than that so far - 146. Not even close to the 158 my 30 ran with 800s in it, but it is a much heavier "pleasure set-up" boat than my 30 w/ Sterlings/Arnesons was. Those 860s are a sweet setup, and I bet they're close to 900HP at the crank.Quote:

Dave, I know it's a different hull, but I have a 1990 23' eliminator that I recently rerigged with a single 400r. I've run a best of 97.6 mph with a 28" merc max5 prop. I think you boat may be a few hundred lb heavier than mine, though.Quote:

Bare hull weight is something like 1200 lb for the talon, 1800 for a 23, and probably well over 2000 lb in the late 22's. The 22 is a deep freeboard rough water hull.

if that is 3000 with motor. it is probably half the weight of my boat. my boat was built with single motor. plus side it did come with twin 58 gallon tanks. They are positioned well. in the side about 3ft forward of transom. it is out of the pool and in the water. any numbers talked about yet?
