Let’s take one day at a time Bob——- just happy to have woken up again this morning !

By 8:30 am I had the exhaust pipes sorted——— eight short stumpy little FECKERS that finally looked the dogs cajones!
With the swirled transom ——- some asse kicking trims———— and an up to date pair of drives——- I might be forgiven for thinking there’s a concept somebody might actually want to buy !
Oh yes forgot to tell you——— made a mind blowing mount for it——- a pair of beautifully engineered alloy end pieces——— been “SPROTTLED” and milled every which way but loose !
Picked up a nice chunk of timber to fashion Scotty B’s Kiekhaefer 111——- had hoped to get it done by Christmas for him,but a virus and a snotty nose kinda put the kybosh on it.
Was halfway through the first supersonical gear case before I realised I’d need a much bigger leg if the.y were ever going to look right!
need a “POWER NAP” —— maybe tonite.
Had the gas turned up high——- grandma took Lizzie to the pantomime, that left me with an uninterrupted day in the shop————- I really did get a wriggle on ! Trouble is——— when I don’t have interferences my mind goes on a galactic journey——- I get ideas way above my pay grade, and me being the dickhead I am tend to follow them and try the impossible.
Consequently, what was a comparatively straight forward concept, has now become a major artistic concept, should it come off, I promise you, it would be a fantastic achievement!
All in all, a very satisfactory day———- you don’t get many of them to the pound.
Anyone out there got any surplus RCB props ? Need a few urgently !
Was hoping to have the 3D printer spitting ‘em out like sunflower seeds——- but Grandson Simon hasn’t found me anything like the ones I require.
Managed to finish one of the gearcases——— damn but I’m getting more than a little good at them —— if I said “quite brilliant”, it would be an understatement AND modest !!!
Was tempted to show you a piccie or two this weekend, but I might just wait until the whole things finished———- maybe Christmas Day——- see how things progress.
They finally caught the lunatics that brought Gatwick to standstill for two days——- flying FECKIN drones in the airspace——— just lock the buggers in a room with a few of the passengers who’s holidays they ruined———— bet you they would never again fly a paper plane, let alone a drone !
Talked with Mark last night——- Craig wants the workforce in all of Christmas—— the Donzi 440 is just about on schedule———- Paint Job is pretty amazing——- four R400 Mercs been fitted——— LIYHIUM batteries ——- six bucket seats are simply the dogs cajones,
Still not allowed to show you any piccies——- but I have to tell you——- I’ve never seen anything quite like it, prettiest cat in the world today, without a doubt.
Predicted performance figures are super impressive——— better not mention them just yet or I’ll get drummed out of the brownies.
Saturday——— scrap yard closed for Christmas——- car boots calling!
Crap morning—— had the “JONAS” touch—— everything I touched turned to worms———- Shoulda stayed in bed till Christmas Eve.
Gods were with me all day yesterday———- Old Nick was my constant companion today !
Seems like everyone’s gone away for Christmas——- either that or they’re pissed at me for some reason ? Still, I’m used to pissing everybody off——- Been doing it all my life—— all you have to do, is tell it the way it is——— wait for it to kick off !
Who in the world could be pissed off with a jolly ol' fellow like yourself?...Nobody....Not a one. Not even Lars from the other side.

Let the spirit of Christmas begin....
There ya go Bobby V——- you had to bring the ambassador in didn’t you——- he who shows the same pictures—— over and over and over again ( as long it’s a Rude). Only time he mentions a Mercury is when it’s broken——— which isn’t often,
Lasse has a big problem inasmuch OMC haven’t raced competitively in the top class for some thirty years, so he has only memories of years gone by.
Mercury on the other hand have never missed a beat—— year after year (Continuously) for over fifty years the motor of choice has always been Mercury!!
Its ironic that the new generation of race motors looks like they will be V8’s——-
Believe Mercury have announced an offshore R400 ——- of course we all know they have no interest whatsoever in producing a formula one race engine ? But I don’t doubt some bright spark might take one of those Offshore 400 V8’s into the shed and stitch it onto a 20/22 foot tunnel and come up with something a bit tasty for Christmas!!!!!There I go again —— dreaming ! Maybe a four inch mid section and a quickie hoof ??
Might even get Mark to bash a five or six bladder about to suit the occasion——- what do think of them apples BUTLER .
Course, they would have to rethink circuit racing——— courses to match the boats——- maybe bring back the marathons——— the three and six hour races ——- maybe Parker could run an OZ class again !
Lasse—- a very sincere Merry Christmas to you and Carina——— I still value you as a good friend and am of the opinion you were one of the all time great OE DRIVERS.
Im still a tad pissed at you for showing the Donzi 440 1600 before me—— I’m still bound by the official secrets act——— Craig says he’ll have my Balls for skittle playing if I show any of them before I get the OK. Ah well, Somedays you eat bear!
Jackie, tell us about this printer thingy what size does it do? Will it do me a Jayne Mansfield or more of Rolex size...Does it scan things and then copy?....What is the finished article made of?......How long will it be before it appears on E-Bay?......So many questions
Afraid you’ll have to look it up on the dot dot——- I still know very little about it Phill——- I’ve done 4”X6” ———- do you any female figure, or part of, ( if you’re that way inclined ) ——-yes , it scans and copies———— finished product is plastic———- they’ve been available on eBay some time for around £200 but the price is falling daily as advancements are made!
My grandson Simon is going to give me further instruction anytime soon !
Today is the day I do the Christmas rounds—— visiting my family that reside in West Sussex, plus a few friends I don’t see on a regular basis.
Really will have to get into the “festive” spirit afore long or it’ll be another year that slid by without me noticing- ———— just like the last fifty or so !
Lizzie did a sleepover with us last night——— her mum and dad went to a late night show——- it’s great fun having her around for a while.
Its chucking it down———— looks like it’s set in for the day——— high street stores are all open, hoping to stay alive to trade next year. I wouldn’t bet the farm on it. Internet shopping is tearing the heart out of the high street.
Shares in the poastal services look a dead cert right. Now.
Police arrested two idiots who thought it was fun to close Gatwick for two days whilst they played drones on the runway.
Cant believe security didn’t have the means to “seek and destroy”——- it’s a safe bet it won’t happen again !
Wont be allowed in the shop today——- but it all looks good for tomorrow—— will probably post a picture of the project ( that’s if I’m anywhere near the finish line.)
Phill...Before you go investing in a 3-D printer you need to know that it requires electricity to run. In case Jackie has not informed you...there is no electricity on the step...:)

There’s an amnesty until after Christmas——- Naughty step closed for the season !
Did the rounds—— made everyone happy——don’t doubt there will be a ton of phoggies on Facebook—— all my grandkids are Aux Fait with today’s technology!
Drunk more coffee and tea today than I normally drink in a year——- if I never see another mince pie—- it’ll be too soon !!
Called into the churchyard at Shipley ——- it’s the place where I buried my eldest daughter Sandra——some 23 years ago——— you would think by now I would have gotten over it——- not so—— the cuts still as deep as it’s ever been.
Shipley church is a very old Knights Templar building——- seeped in history——- I lived in the village at Brooklands Farm for 22 years——- all my kids lived there, and lots of my grandkids. Even today it’s fondly remembered as “THE FARM” by all of them !
Made it home about dusk——- glad to have a glass of Christmas cheer in my hand——- lets see what Christmas Eve chucks at us.!

Umm...Best not awaken a sleeping tiger I reckon''
The only 3D Printer I ever saw was on a visit to the PENSKE Factory ( at that time they were made over here in England) it had been set up to produce a likeness of a exhaust manifold ( I think you call them headers over your side) such was the technology at that time the operator told me it would take some 24 hours to complete the task.....the guy baulked at my request for a snap or 2 so I guess either the machine itself or more likely what it was making was a bit hush hush......Now JW's got one on his kitchen table!!!! time moves on indeed..
Best Christmas to you all from Ye Olde England.....
Bob..... I'm not going to awaken the the sleeping tiger!!...
[QUOTE=ron54;3100285] Hi Phill - I think that the printer that Jackie has is for small items made from plastic. I have a friend that has one and can make the small pieces used on model trains like the couples and brake wheels. It may be a while before Jackie can replicate Jayne Mansfield.
I know that you have been longing for a spot on the step for some time now, but it just does not seem to happen. Now the step has been closed until after the holidays. I guess we will have to wait to see what the new year brings...
Phill...Wishing you and yours all the best from the USA.
