We had the trusty Lexus for seven years———- in fact, I thought it would last us forever.
But——— the time has come the walrus said——-
This will definitely be the very last car we ever own——— should last until i’m over the ton, ——- after that, frankly my dear I don’t give a flying fart.
Nice present, but white ? Means I have to keep it clean on a monthly basis as opposed to the twice a year Rumanian £5 a pop Tesco car park clean the old girl used to get.
Hey ya ol' Curmudgeon, just wanted to wish you a quick Happy #86!!
It's been a lot of fun discussing and debating what really happened 'back in the day' with you over the years. Never has anyone ever made me look so smart! :D
Keep the golf clubs in the bag and your finger on the keypad, I look forward to helping with your history lessons as we blaze into the future.
Hang this on a wall, guaranteed to pick you up when you're down ..... Happy Birthday!

I never had to use my younger brothers picture——- that’s playing really sneaky William——- you were more Don Ameche———- doubtful and dubious.
Been round the block a bit—— more used and abused——- thrashed and bashed—— taken to the park and accidentally left there overnight when you were five.
To use Ricks picture was below the belt——— get on the naughty step for the next forty years you ‘orrible Oshberg Old operator!
We must have been Friends once Bill or you never would have stuck those BLOODY HOORAY stickers on the boat nearly fifty years ago!
happy birthday from Canada- wishing you all the best in 2018
Happy birthday Jackie and congrats on your continuing successes ! I hope I can be as active a few years down the road.
Now that was quite a day—— phone never stopped ringing. First was from Australia——- Last was from the USA, then there was all ports in between.
Its great to have so many friends——- I’m really surprised as I have a motormouth and a lot of attitude and have always managed to fall out with most of my friends at one time or another, although if your my friend—ITS FOR LIFE—
I know there will be lots of you out there who have wished me well that I won’t get around to thanking, not for any reason, it Just happens.
There are one or two special people who supported me when I first tried to do concepts, even though they were crap, Rich Luhrs, Roger Hinsdale, John Schubert, who is excellent at detailing, a couple of Canadians who you all know——- sincerely, thank you.
Thank you Bob V for kicking the whole thing off.
I got a whole rake of concepts to move——— how does two hundred bucks a pop sound? If you don’t like it, make me a silly offer.
Odells Mona Lou is not for sale at any price, but everything else is!Attachment 398513Attachment 398514Attachment 398515
Small selection of some of the stuff I have to shift—— make me an offer, the glass under the Gieco boats is half inch laminated.
Posrage to the USA is f

Would appear that going advanced buggered up the piccies——— here’s a few to be going on with. I will get the Canon out and pretend I know what I’m doing.
Right then—— birthdays been and gone ‘till next year, time to get back to boats and engines. You’re all welcome to join the argument/discussion, it may get a tad heated at times, but craperootle—— Thats life, so live with it.
All old racers loved the sport, but when we retired, very few of us, even the ones with huge amounts of experience, ever put anything back into the sport.
Major exception to this is Timmy Seebold——- when he hung up his helmet, he sunk a chunk of his own money into creating a worthwhile powerboat series. Arranged the venues, arranged the TV coverage.
Big problem with the Champ boat series is the fact that most of the boats are 20 years old and in some cases even older —- but —— god bless America they are still running.
I thinkTerry Rinker still makes the odd new boat or two, but I don’t know of any others.
So When Timmy decided to get Mark to build him a couple of new Seebold composite Champ boats, it came out of his own pocket again. Now that’s dedication.
Again there’s the thorny problem of safety cells——-as you will have read in this column a couple of weeks back everybody and his old granny seems to know what is and what is not allowed in today’s racing world.
Mark, Timmy and the APBA and UIM are trying to get a cell constructed to a standard that’s acceptable to all.
They seem to have fulfilled all the requirements for the Champ boat series in the USA.
Now that doesn’t mean it’s worth a hill o beans in Europe, but it’s a start.
What I can tell you is the new Seebold cell is far stronger in every respect than anything that has been built before———- in fact, there is no need for crash boxes with this one————- now the sh-ts going to hit the fan.
Mr Ambassador is bound to throw his dollies long distances.
Lets just sit back, watch, wait and listen!
did you know that a brand new composite rigged tunnel hull from Italy come out at $100,000 ?
Jackie - Nipper's picture disappeared so I am posting it again..

Always will be  ..... I remember the stickers well. After spending a few weeks in Europe listening to your tall tales, your "Bloody Hooray" had found it's way into my vocabulary. I laughed every time I caught myself using that expression. Nothing said 'Jackie Wilson' more than 'Bloody Hooray' and I decided to have them made for your Havasu boat ..... they looked great
