I have watched the president abused ,accused and attacked for one thing and another , way beyond normal common decent behaviour. So rightly or wrongly he was voted out. That has to be honoured and accepted .
there are many decisions taken by my leaders i do not agree with, but being a democratic community i go along with. Not because i am chicken liveried , or wont stand up and be counted , because if i go on the rampage, simply because i dont agreed with a decision, THAT WOULD MAKE ME AN ANIMAL.

For years it has been a club for incompetent rule makers , who are a law unto themselves .
in my experience, {which is quite extensive} they have very little ability when it comes to actually KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT BOAT RACING!

Using power tools that are plugged in all the time is a hazardous occupation. Cables have a habit of wrapping themselves round my feet , one of these days im going arse over tip where theres nowhere safe to tumble. With the new table , i can minimise all that.
We are in total lockdown until February. Over a thousand folk a day are copping their clogs because of the damned COVID.
Vaccine jabs are going well and approaching the numbers. Think they forgot about me. That suits me fine . Snakes tend to die anyway after biting me , maybe the virus heard of me and decided to leave me be.
I would sooner wait and see what the reaction is after the second injection ???????
plus, i want the OXFORD jab. Just a normal injection, none of the minus 70 degree stuff and an 18 day wait for the second hit. Just five days with the oxford .

Workshop bench is coming together at a rapid rate of knots . Attached the woodwork vice rather nicely, put new inserts on it a couple of years back. Means materials held are less likely to get maimed and bruised. Put the bender at the far end , plus the first 12 tool holder. I never had it so good.
Excellent, Jackie - Safety number one... Convenience and ease of operation is important too. You'll be asking yourself (if you haven't already) why you put up with the old system for so long. Most of us fall into the same boat, perhaps to save time, money or both. In the end, doing something for yourself is necessary, especially when you use that bench almost every single day! That old adage, "Too soon old, too late smart", comes to mind".
