Not to worry guys-------I got a whole mahogany table top and three legs still to chaw on------that's a least three more "FLATTIES" then again I never could resist doing an all metal concept. You gotta admit I'm a sneaky bastard when it comes to concepts!
Been warned to expect a fate worse than death should I even think about lifting the keys for the workshop off the hook before Boxing Day .
Thats me done for now gentle people except to wish each and every one of you out there-----
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR------MAY YOUR GOD GO WITH YOU. J.
Well, another bonus today-----I woke up----again ! Merry Christmas everybody !
Sam, my youngest asked me to make an apple pie for later on in the day.
You may not believe this , but I make the kind of apple pie that mother used to TRY TO MAKE.
I try to be modest about it, but when you make "THE WORLDS BEST APPLE PIE" it's kinda hard.
Wish I had a movie camera so I could show you how it's done------will start cooking the pie around 10:30am------it has to be baked and eaten the same day-----no secrets, I'll take a couple of piccies as I'm going along---------eat your heart out JAMIE OLIVER.
Pie now baking in the oven, turned out as I knew it would-----simply brilliant, there is no substitute for perfection!
in case you're thinking I'm talking out of my rectum, let me tell you a bit of "Wilson History",
My grandparents were both bakers from around 1910 and had a bakery in Bingley.
My father had a bakers shop in Bradford, where I served my apprenticeship, attended Bolton Royd Bakery school, attaining my city and guilds there.
Learned more skills from a Swiss chocolatier then on to finish my apprenticeship with a madman that taught me lessons in sugar-------both spinning and icing, in the end I was better at everything than any of them!
By this time I was nearly twenty years old and thought I was the best baker and confectioner in the world, so I left home, ( after my sainted mother had thrown me out once again) and headed south, never to return to Bradford.
Point I'm trying to make, I'm one hell of an apple pie maker, as Tina says, SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST" !!!

There you you have it------the apple pie momma tried to make--------not due to be scoffed until quite a bit later.
I usually mould a rose for the final decoration, but everyone will be too drunk to notice, so I couldn't be arsed!
Got lots of piccies to post-----but whilst it's still fresh in my mind, I have to tell you in all modesty-------there was plenty of turkey, pork, ham, stuffing and vegetables plum pudding etc: left over---------JACKIELADS apple pie disappeared faster than a snowball in hell -----or an iceberg on the equator (as usual) The legendary apple pie lives on !,,,,,,----- happy Boxing Day.J.
When we decided to move house again, I emptied the loft, came across a small suitcase, gave it to my daughter Samantha who discovered nearly a thousand colour slides, some from fifty years ago.

Did a bit on "MOONSHINE BABE" , did the filler cap and rub rail and shortened the pipes, then threaded the eighteen spokes on the rear wheel of the Roller. Turned dog nasty cold so I'm calling it a day, even though it's only just gone 3 pm. I've already lit the fire and it is Boxing Day and the CCbottle is calling "I'm here ".
