It was my boat but my son Ben was driving it. I was actually in this New Blue 21 Sutphen riding shotgun with Morgan Hawk from Sutphen Boats.

You get your bottom that clean without flipping the hull? Thats what I need.
Seeing Cutwater's work is even better in person. My dad and I had the pleasure a few months ago.
I'm not old enough to know how the "yachts" he restores/rebuilds looked when they were first "born", but seeing them after he's put his hands on them is like looking at the finest pieces of woodworking craftmanship you would see at a museum. He is truly talented and the pride he takes in his work really is reflected (literally) in every completed project
I missed ya, must of been having too much fun. That was only the second time my son drove the Velocity and I was having fun watching him. He got 84 out of it that day with 2 people. Also Chris M and I both have houses up in Long Lake and go by LG all the time on our way up. We may have to stop by some time and check out your work. Chris keeps telling me I need to go to Thousand Islands with him and check out a boat museum up there. According to Activator22 I think we should go to your museum.
Yes JamesGang, Chris is right. I use to live in Clayton NY where the antique boat museum is and they have a big show every summer and it is a great show.
Also boating around the Thousand Islands is a fun time and would be worth the trip.
Nice Shadow Hydrovair. Chris & I took my Sutphen up there 3 years ago and the boating was great. That lake in the middle of an Island was cool. I think he found out about the museum after. He goes up there to visit a friend around the 4th of July every year so maybe Ill check it out the next time i go with him.
Thanks, I would have to look up the date for this years show, but most of the time it is around the second weekend in August. The museum itself is open all summer.
The Antique Boat Museum is at www.abm.org, there's a calendar of events posted. The annual show is typically first weekend in August. On even numbered years, there is a very cool Vintage Raceboat Regatta two weeks after the regular show. Both are great events.
Thanks for the link Cutwater.
And this is the year for the Raceboat Regatta on Aug 13-14 might have to plan my trip up North around this date would love to see this show again.:iagree:
