So got garys motta glued back together and when I got the powerhead on [ got it with the powerhead off ] now I see why the two holes are drilled on the port side so the dumb asses can take the two lower exhaust block bolts out so they don't have to pull the powerhead off to replace the gaskets which are notorious for leaking water into the cyls that's why I fixed that one broken bolt on the top just to make it right probally would been ok but can't take the chance seeing its already apart . GARY we all want pics of the mx- 13 bro ? PIcs of the motta back together.

The factory box was rotted beyond repair, so built a new one. Figured I'd go for a step side, because you really don't see took many 4 door step sides...

OK guys the MX-13 is still outside under cover and the only difference is it has a tarp over her with almost 2 1/2 ft of snow around her. Also she must be lucky as a 8" pine branch just missed her during one of the storms! I found a place to store the Bronco and am doin a couple of upgrades to it before I move it. Then the Mx-13 comes in next to the Viper for the full restore. I will start a thread the day she moves in which should be in a week or so .....weather and work load permitting.....I'm behind 5 wks on the custom house I, buildin!!! Nerver again am I startin one after Christmas. Gettin too old for the stress!

I remember in 9th or 10th grade wanting one of the 13 ft. Checkmates so bad.... Never happened though. Sure hope you post up pics of that restore too!
