3 open plugs on a 18ft tunnel at rest will get heavy quick..... I thought he was very rude I was passing a cold one when he scrambled to the seat and started it wide open.
My stoker had 3 plugs, i guess i would have sunk that one for sure if i left the plugs out. My daughter did not panic, she kinda found it funny. She said what would we have done if it sunk? I said we are in the river we could just walk to the shore.
Hey, speak for yourself, I have never ever done that.....:nonod::icon_bs:.....:D
That's a good and funny response.......:D I'm sure she is a good swimmer why panic and would have simply said, dad I'm headed to shore.....
I only ever did it one time, backed down the ramp and realized I had for got to put it in. Pulled it up let her drain and installed the plug. Lucky for me only one other person at the ramp to laugh at me. :D
Dave :)
Remember the drain plug and forget to put the kill switch on pull the cover do all these checks and realize the lanyard is on your jacket and not connected.
I launched my dads aluminum boat without the plug in when I was a teenager. Never did it with my Ally or STV though.
Customer out in boat and it wont run so he puts it on trailer and brings to us. No appointment gonna be a couple weeks. No cover on boat, rains so we pull his drain plug so boat doesnt sink on land. Get boat fixed, customer picks up. Get call, boat sank, rushed to get on trailer, jack knifed trailer and damaged truck bed and whos to blame, Yep..............
How about this? Had a manual switch installed for port and starboard fuel tanks, switched from port to starboard [so I thought!] , ran about a minute and the engine quits. I had turned the switch to neutral/off, no pill for stupid!!
