Seebold called this morning, he is definitely going to the bristol reunion, so he should , holding the meet without him would be like ordering a CC7 without the Canadian Club.

I finally worked out how come S&F think i still live in france, anything i send from the "IMAC" desktop looks like its come from France and my IPAD says i live in England.
OK admin men can you please confirm that you understand there is only one of ME and all posts on S&F were sent by the one and only ME!!!!!!!
I just happened to have moved house and country but Dammit to heaven there is still only ONE me. The world as we know it would cease to exist of there were two of us!!!!!!!!!!

Chucked it down all morning so I locked the workshop door and doodled on the black wing, decided to put pipes, filler caps and a tie bar on it. It's been sculling around the shop forever, unloved, unwanted and in need of a facelift. If I could sign write it would be ok, but unfortunately I'm not gifted paint wise. Was interrupted and had to place the trellis I made as the sweet peas are sprouting and the order came from high up, (in fact in our house it came from the kitchen goddess herself and it don't get any higher than that).

Thats the lean to that took me all weekend to construct with a little help from my friend for two hours. Now I can make the pool room into a showroom/studio.
We have Billy coming to stay with us for a few days early June, see if I can lure him to Brooklands or Goodwood, Maybe the Air museum at Tangmere!
Have a couple of very English country pubs for him to try out, hope to wean him off "Bud Light" onto a genuine English ale !
Apparently Geico had a handling problem with the steering, it certainly looked a bit frog like going into the beach turn. Needs to be better than that at Marathon, that C3 was running sweet and on rails, great to see a boat set up and running nicely.
weather cold and blustery with rain in the air and forecast for rain all day, plants are growing flipper leaves, goggles and snorkels.! Only joking, honest!
Mark says he's coming over next week to see the family, be nice to see him again. We talk on FaceTime, couple of times a week but nothing beats face to face.
He looks after a fleet of Pershing and Ferretti boats prop wise -----repairs usually require a lot of physical on the anvil, talk later. J.
BTW, Working on the cover sets for the stackers. Hope to have them look'n like Mr. K. would want them for November.
Open exhausts always look kinda sexy on a motor I reckon...Think of the F1 and Indy cars of the sixties,Top Fuel Dragsters also..
Thanks for the piccies Roger, after looking at the rear end of Diablo I have a lot better feel of the boat.
I did the painting on the side of the wing in emulsion, knew it wouldn't be any good so I can just wipe it off, but I'll come up with something to make it a bit more respectable.
Working on some new pipes for it, turned some up in brass, not bad, but they need to be bigger and polished alloy! Will get there in the end !
Got an idea in my head for a twin Molinari rig out of stainless with mahogany Sponsons and an oak centre section, just a "Concept" of course, nothing too serious, I know my limits.
Still haven't come up with a solution on how to mount the "ghost" and TRAILOR on to a solid mount that will withstand the rigours and abuse and celebrations of "Winners"!
Erected the gazebo on the rear deck , took all morning on my own, another piece of chinky cheepo junk that requires a degree in military construction and the patience of Job neither of which I am blessed with. There is no way on Gods earth that forty pieces of tube will stay together while you slide the top cover over said erection-----would be easier to put a condom over the Statue of Liberty -----answer----bolt every piece together, which I did ! Drilled and bolted every single pole to each other, and the corner pieces, and the top-------took two steps back and thought to myself, HAVE SOME OF THAT, "BITCH"come apart now if you can, ha, bloody ha,ha,ha! At that moment in time a gust of wind just lifted the whole shebang and dumped it in the middle of the lawn.
I think someone was trying to tell me something?
Will show you a piccie of the finished article tomorrow, nighty night peeps, MYGGWY.J.
When that damned gazebo took off Dave, I swear if I had hung on , it would have taken me with it.
It is now nailed to the house wall and the decking, if it goes walkabout again it will be with the front of the house!
we got another bright sunshiny day, wind has dropped (as it would now the damned gazebos erected). Need to get into the shop, have several things to do and ideas that need formulating before I forget them. Wonder if anyone else out there stands in the middle of a room or workshop and thinks "What the hell was it I was going to do" or " What did I come in here for"? It happens to me on a regular basis.
Spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden, have decided to only do mornings in the shop, have my nap and then enjoy the garden in the afternoons during the summer months.
What was that old English poem, "The kiss of the sun for pardon,, the song of the birds for mirth Your closer to God ( or was it Gods heart ) in a garden than anywhere else on earth" I think it was written by a Dorothy Frary.
I am not overly religious , I believe I'm like most people, just a good Christian with a belief!
Will take the KODAK with me today !

Jackie, there is a "breakfast club" meeting at Goodwood on the 7th June..
Brooklands is always worth a visit, I think they were racing there before "The Mayflower" tied up wher'nt they?
Beaulieu ??
It's a shame Bluebird K7 is such a way distant..they would loved a visit from from you guys for certain, hell I would have taken you both myself.
I have a Bristol programme from 1979 do you think Bill would sign it for me?
I don't know how you are travelling down but let me know if you need picking up from anywhere this end............Phill.
