What a work of art these motors are. Kudos to CRT for doing this. Are these motors now in production? Just came across this thread recently. Had taken a many years long sabbatical from outboard drag racing, but I've just recently required a lightweight STV RR, and I need a 2.5 drag setup to power it.
We are waiting on them still
Caldwell——- love the product, price seems right——— got all the makings to bring back racing as we used to know it.
Only thing that’s lacking is information.
Everyone I’ve spoken to is enthusiastic and upbeat.
My problem is, nobody knows much about anything——-
You say you have lots of operatives who can talk to me——-please feel free——- I will listen to anything you have to say.
I will gladly give you my Home and mobile phone numbers!
You can have my email address, or get in touch with me by PM.
In 1968 Cosworth Engineering took car racing and racing engines to a whole new level . They made them available and affordable for everyone. I was hoping you were going to do likewise with outboards.
Ok Caldwell——— I feel I have to ask this.
ARE YOU STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS?
Fujimo——— you are usually on top of things——- What’s happening?
Mark said he spoke to Caldwell at the Lauderdale show and everything seemed ok.
Should have asked Timmy, he would know.
Helluva lot of people would like it if you kept us “in the loop” Caldwell——— everyone’s rooting for you.

So my mother would say.
I don't know anything about the EPA regulations , but I would think they would screw up any chance of return on investment.
Best of luck on this project .
They had a booth at the recent PRI show so it seems like they are still progressing.
"Come see us at the PRI show in Indianapolis, Indiana today, tomorrow and Saturday. We are located with Advanced Sleeve in booth # 230. We have our SR (Standard Race) 2.5 liter block on display. Our motors will be released for production at the Miami Boat Show in February! We will be taking orders then with full pricing."
I have no idea of what’s going on Pilgrim———- I would like to think everything in the garden s lovely, but I’m just a cynical old bastard, but I really do hope they get their act together and start producing motors at a price that’s affordable————- but I’m full of no confidence.
block looks perfect...worth saving up for one if there ever for sale.
