5 below is 27 f ——- and -5C —- colonials will never go metric . Mind you if i am honest its only in the last 20 years i have come to understand the metric system —which, if i am honest is easier and more accurate than all the outdated systems i have used all my life. Colonials will not like it and be slow to accept — but believe me its coming !!!!!!!!
Not in my life time. I cuss every time I have to get my metric tool to work on a John Deere tractor.

Afghan hound was a show dog at CRUFTS — belonged to my next door neighbour . Was only a question of time before he had her away—— when PRUETT was frisky not even chastity belts would deter him. Old Mother Nature had one last nasty little trick left . She lowered the temp to -7 and then raised it to + 13 which is a 20 per cent increase ——- then she chucked down a ton of rain which immediately froze over so everything is a skating rink. Jolly hockeysticks .
After six hours of constant rain even the ice capitulated. Just off to HAMBLE for a family get together with some of my family . Will be a glorious pissup — but im not driving so —do i give a flying fart, Christmas is here at last. Will deliver ANNE CURTIS”S [ Stevie Curtis’s mums] tunnel concept to NETLEY Abbey at the same time . If i didnt have so much to do and so little time to do it in i would be a happy bunny.!!!!!!!!
Finally rolled into bed a tad after 1-00am. Rained heavily and nonstop for 20 hours creating some horrendous driving conditions . I did manage to deliver the ANNE CURTIS trophy OK. Think she was suitably impressed.
Wilson get togethers are always a little hectic -noisy=and very wet, there is never a dry throat in the house and always a heavy table with just about every food known to man on offer. Far too much food as usual with some scintillating conversations going on until the early hours . Never a cros word this time and no fights . What more can a man ask for ???
really do have to get stuck into the three Velden/Benson and Hedges craft this morning, still haven’t worked out how to mount them although i must confess to having the vague inkling of an idea.
Watch out for a progress piccy. Another week and it’ll be all over ?????????
IM GETTING THERE — BUT SLOWLY. This is the third attempt at mounting the three Velden boats of VELDEN—MOSTERT AND SALABERT. Its quite difficult to create a threesome !!!!!!!!
