    I have one in my driveway I will sell for half that. I just started putting a new transom in. Unless the deck was filled in I don't think it is an aronow magnum Amazing what people think things are worth

    I think you could buy a decent one, turn key in the $5K range.
    Lots of them out there in all ranges of value/condition. They can be very, very fast but being non pickle fork they pack a bunch of area so you need to be good on your trim buttons
    Plenty of nay says about them being death traps but Laser Ed down in the Keys has been low 120's in his a bazillion times.

    Thanks Instigator for gettin back to my question. I am new to the full size "go fasts" as I have allways had small hi-speed boats. This site has been quite an education for me! I have to say that STV does look good in the pics (at least to an untrained eye) Thanks again Gary
