looks like the motors will be clamped on the transom prior to sending the boat to Grant's Signature Racing

Of course this could also explain why I have never been called to testify as a hand writing expert.

Would be neat to see the weight progression as it gets built.

    .
The pictures of the motors were taken at Grants place (that's Dan's 28 in the background), so my guess is that they'll hang the motors there - not at Skater. It looks to me like Skater will put the interior in it and send it off to Grants............. And thanks for posting the pics Noli! They are helpful to me, since that boat will be gone by the time I get back to Skater next. There are a few design pieces in those pics that I will be incorporating into my build, so it's great having them to use!

I was wondering why the Broadco race boat would be up on the wall at Skater...now i get it...its not at Skater but at Grants

The windshield would proly be cut at Skater factory?

Yes, Skater will finish the windshield and interior installation, then send it off to Grant's. From what I see in the pics, I think Grant may be having his upholstery guy do all the foam and vinyl work, as the seat shells are finished, but not upholstered. He may have had Pete just build the shells and sidepanels and then finish them using his guy that did Dan's seats.

Guess that's what the short transom is for. The 15" ROS could also be mounted on brackets for the X, but maybe not as efficient.
