Looks like it pulls well with two aboard! Do you have a top speed goal in mind?
When I had my Viper a few years back and was just really getting into this fast boating thing she'd do a whopping 62 MPH setup very poorly with some pos prop and an old Johnson 140. It was a lot of fun and I'm sure the speed you've got yours going feels very very fast in such a compact boat.

very exciting ride. there was a time I would have tried to run a 15ft viper that hard on the first outing in those conditions. but my balls have shrunk since my younger days. seems to have a lot more mph in it. your little camera guy is the brave one. most riders would have bailed at the first island. be careful and get some seat time in it before you string it out.

set back gives leverage to carry the bow. a 15ft viper will carry the bow with the motor in the front seat. so I think less setback will result in a better handling boat.

I ran mine 1" above 5" back with mod. 245 no tabs. The best I ever ran was 104 and did not want to try and push it any harder. The boat felt pretty solid until it got to the upper 90's and then it made you pucker up. I was suprized how well that little boat handled the power but be careful things go bad real fast in a 15' boat. Mine was an 82 with the hook still in pad and I change it to center steer. Set up like this it did porpoise at low speeds but I didnt use it for a lake boat so I didnt care.

He knows Ronnie.......flip the plate and jack it up like we talked about. Make sure the boat is well balanced port to starboard and it'll drive like its on rails once it takes a set....just watch the 'up' button

who is the douche making it sound like it's hard to drive a pad-v.....that guy is a tool.
    what a bunch of over-acting!!!
    viper is a stepped pad?
balance on a bowling bowl to practice driving a pad -v????
the viper gets lift from hydraulics.....what about the air passing under the hull and over the windshield?
Ronnie is no doubt the real deal ......but the guy explaining it all is a retard!
