displaying the u.s. flag
When displaying the flag, horizontally, stars should to the upper left, not upper right. reasons being when standing for the pledge, your right hand goes over heart[left side]. when displaying the flag, hanging vertically, stars to upper left. i see on t.v. commercials for JEEP, showing it azz backwards, also on mock-up uniforms. i find it offensive actually, being a Veteran. worn many uniforms, greens, whites, blues. flag displayed always w/ stars on left. IMO if they cant erase history, thell try to change it.....

I haven't seen the commercials but isn't there also a clause that the stars should always face towards the direction you're moving.

Had one in my front yard forever.
And as is required, under light once the sun goes down.
I also have a pallet painted as flag, at the entrance to my driveway, also under light.
I havent noticed what you pointed out be will watch.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

On a flagpole, doesn't it change depending which side of the flag you are on?

Lighted pole in our front yard for years. Always honor the flag, the freedom it represents, and those who died for it.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.

Seen it a few days back. Don't like it and I'll bet eventually they either stop using badge or they change it. I am sure we are not the only ones that did not care for it. Money talks and losing a few sales will surely get their attention.
