    High performance crankshaft double seal rings

    Any one tryed replacing the standard crankshaft sealing rings with double seal rings.

    Yes,I have used the wizard sealing rings ,and I like them better than the single mercury ring.I have used them in 200 EFI,and 300 drag motores with no issues...What are you trying to build?

    I would think.... it would be a good area to reduce drag....... I lap my rings till they are flat.... thinner than standard worn out rings.....They are at 1/2 speed of crank Rpm.....or standin still?????last time I looked I got spun around and got DiZiZZy.....I would think some nylon ones would be ....Neat....

    So instead of 1 thick ring you have 2 thin rings ?

    Hi Laser_ED, I am rebuilding a Merc 260HP with some new pistons, so I thinking since it all are taken apart i would do the crankrings also.

    Yes eli, they will then be installed so that the two openings are oppersit, and thereoff in therory, redusing the leak between one crank camber to the other.
