Prices of Hi-Perf Merc 2.5 stuff

    Are going up?

They aren't making this stuff anymore.

How much is a 15" SS mid worth?

Would it matter if 280 or 260?

I have one of each. Funny how they are worth so much more than a 20" OS mid. I have a few of those too....

How much is a 15" SS mid worth?.....What is the condition, bushings good, what plate, tuner etc 3500-4500K. One on FB for $4400 and he has interest.

Would it matter if 280 or 260?......Yes, I found that the 280 can, plate (flange is thicker) and saddle had better casting the same for 20" 280 mids.

I have one of each. Funny how they are worth so much more than a 20" OS mid. I have a few of those too.... Many more 20" than 15" Let me also add that the 15" center swivel section is 40lbs heavier. Mucho aluminum block.
Paul, since I'm also an early bird thought I put my .2 cents......

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

    Good question and point!
May want to add another important question, what was it run on? Cats are brutal on LU's and mids.

This nightmare of a thought has crossed my mind...I'll keep my promax running for as long as I can, I have a basement full of evinrudes dating back to '46 that all run due to meticulous care. But the merc is a whole different beast. Unfortunately there is no 4s that I can think of that wouldn't drag my Stream to the bottom like ship anchor
