    CLE Rebuilt Lower Unit

    Rebuilt/remanufactured CLE lower unit. Enhanced high performance lower unit for Mercury outboard motors.
    Standard rotation.
    Shaft measures 23 inches from top of gearcase to top of shaft.
    1.87 gear ratio
    Two hole water intake.
    Unit is in Pooler, GA you can pick up there or pay for crating and shipping.
    $2000 to me, shipping on you.

    High performance lower units are engineered and designed to reduce drag in the water which allows the boat to go faster. That's my understanding, I am sure some others can provide further insight.

    As far as most are concerned here...CLE lower units are not exactly "high performance"

    Also, what was done in the rebuild? New gears, new seals, new wp base/pump/housing or what?

    Cle is a early Version of sporty , yes they would be considered hi performance

    Recently serviced would be more appropriate. Rebuilt would indicate bearings etc.

    cle still works on some fast rigs but it a little short for most
