Mine are 325/50/R22 which works out to 34.8x12.8/22 but if you put a tape measure to them I dont care how you measure them even with 70psi in them they dont measure over 33. Now the rear ones are getting pretty bald

Yea nothing is simple anymore. At this rate my truck will have historic plates by the time the speedo is correct

Superlift makes a box to alter the speedo signal on the Chevy trucks. I wouldn't be surprised if that worked for you. Not you Kev. I know your truck is old school like mine.

Took two tries but they got it. Was frustrating as hell plugging in the first one w/no improvement especially w/it nearly drawing blood to get to it where it's buried down beside the radiator.
Not sure I understood what they did the first time but they said they calibrated it by lying to the computer on tire size. Only thing I can figure is that was already done and they were correct that there was a faulty sensor somewhere else.
What I did for them was feed them readings from the van Vs my hand held GPS. Math ended up showing over 17% variable but it was constant throughout the speed range.
Now w/the van speedo at 60 it reads 59.9 GPS which is the most accurate vehicle I've ever owned.

Brian is also writing me a letter stating the aboves effect on my odometer too. So the 110K showing is really only about 92 K. Not that a '2000 full size van is really worth anything anyhow ; )

So in a nut shell, anybody can make a mistake. It's up to us to give them a chance to correct it which they did.

Thanks again for the lead. Was a huge PIA from day one on my side but they didn't get involved until the very end.

Glad it worked out for you. Vans are not the most friendly to work on, I know from experience. I have a really nice 95 Caprice wagon with the LT1 that I am going to swap out the gears to 3.42s. It should really help out the holeshot and towing, although it really does well pulling the Allison now.
(always have to tinker with stuff until it breaks, that's how we find the limitations!)
    Take care, Kurt

Very cool. One step behind you on the trailer. Had to move the axles back. Thats done just need to add extensions to the brake hoses and bolt one fender back on.
You going to the Cocoa race?? We already have a room booked at the southern LQ. They sponsor a boat and are planning a party and should be a good time.
I may try and park the Sonic in the crowd and pretend ; )

Thanks Gary...I found this one pretty cheap and it didn't make sense to re-do the steel one. Sold that one, and between what I paid for this one and got for the old, I got about $2600 in this aluminum, with everything new except for the axles! (which are torsions)

Not sure if we're going to Cocoa or not. We'll either be there or in Sebastian though.

Lately I've been using my wife's Lincoln Aviator with the 300HP DOHC 4.6 for longer trips. It's a really nice vehicle to tow with. It's totally stock except for the Foose Nitrous wheels with Anthracite centers to match the lower trim colors.

This is what you call overkill, We did this as a joke years ago and towed my raceboat to a race in Nashville on the road trailer with my Pete. We were racing with the unlimiteds and they all had semis so we said WTF and used mine.

Here's a couple more tow vehicles. The ZR2 did a respectable job of towing my 24' Excaliber and the powerstroke Ford mas way more than I needed for my Stream. I guess I could've matched them up a little better!

Here's mine. Built right in St.Cloud and one of the most impressive trailers I've owned. Torsion axles, disc's both axles, all stainless hardware, solid, one piece 4" x 10" x 10' bunks, all the wiring is heat shrinked, brake lines have chafe guards where the go through the frame, etc, etc.
    Way impressed.
Once I sell the steel trailer I should have about $500. in this one.

And other than having to move the bunks, axles, frame cross member, fenders, bow stop, boat guides, the Sonic fit right on ; )

Nice! I had mine out last week and was really happy with how it loaded. Just like you, mine fit great other than having to adjust everything. Haha...

Ameritrail makes a nice trailer. They've done some work for me over the years. I priced a new one from them and it was about $8k for a tandem 6k lb axles, brakes, etc...
