Got my first fishing boat completed finally-
I bought this 95' XB2003 a while back from Greg C. "G-train here on the board" and have been picking at it for what seems like forever but finally got it done and it turned out alright. I have been told by sooo many people that it will be like an evil girlfriend and to never get comfortable enough to trust her....looking forward to running something different once in a while-

Looks fantastic! Is it an X motor or Promax? Whats your thoughts on the flooring? It looks amazing and was considering it for one of my boats but never seen the stuff first hand.

Very nice Joe. I miss my Allisons a lot and as of right now I am jealous of you. What is the floor covered with? Sure looks good.

Beautiful Joe, Here is a before pic.
I had a 280 on it...The 90 Opti that you see on it is just on for a ride home from swapping the 280 to a tri-toon, and bringing the 90 back home."The Flying Clamato"

I have a short windscreen for it but was going to wait and see just how hard I get blasted (its already starting to heat up down here 88 degrees yesterday). I also had a really nice "very low" bimini made for it-should be a usable boat with lots of storage and deck space for hanging out.
The flooring is triple layer sea dek (each color is a stacked layer) and I like the looks of it along with the fact that it doesn't hold water, doesn't get hot, soft on your feet, its a noise insulator, and cleans up easily with soap/simple green and water.
The motor is an XS with a 15" mad efi can, 2.5 offshore clamp, under an X cowl. Its a fuel sipper that has enough power to keep up with traffic.
Thanks for the compliments,
Joe

Joe, Looks like you kept the original "Platinum" Color...or is it just the boat being in the shade?

Its the original gel just wet sanded and polished. When the carpets all came out, we had large gaps between the deck lids and the landings so I wrapped the edges with aluminum strips to take that area up and then did the sea dek. The dash areas were all cut and filled for the flat carbon panels.

So J.P. do you consider yourself a "center console" guy now ... LOL
As always, a very nice detailed build ...
Brandon says .. Roland Martin might not like it, but pilchards are the way to go for those big center of the state, lunker bass ..
