We were all great friends at one time , that was until the 1970 Paris six hour race . Renato thought i had lost him the race —- i told him he had lost his touch . Much later we realised it was a timekeeping error . Damage was done . Told you before , i usually manage to fall out with most of my friends at one time or another … most times they get over it , if they dont —tough titty !!!!
Was just the odd one or two that i never did fall out with—-Spalding—Shooter—SEEBOLD — Ridgell—. Friends are usually for life . But not always !!!!!!!

Always wanted an acoustic — simply never found the time , either to purchase or learn—— Carly decided i had whinged for long enough so she gave me her own . Carly and Johnny do gigs in their own right . He plays Guitar and she belts out a good song.

Ben - my eldest grandson —- he’s coming up fifty this time . Owns and runs the local country magazine AAH. [ ALL ABOUT HORSHAM. ]. DAD —footballer —very proud of BEN.

There are sometimes when life kinda stands still—gets put on the back burner so to speak .
Brett May— he is spending some time in hospital after a fall— didn’t plan to take time out — sometimes it just happens that way.
Kenny Kitson —retired , chugging along nicely —-bang —hospital, blood pressures all over the hog market ???????? What the hell was that all about .
S0– i have my 90th birthday party -come home and have a very annoying tickle at the back of my throat——it persists —. my sainted mother knew exactly what it was —— THE THREE DAY COLD —— THREE DAYS COMING—— THREE DAYS HERE —-THREE DAYS GOING.
Sorry mum, you got this one wrong.— been here ten days and the buggers still bothering me . Of course i am on anti—biotics !!!!!!!!
try not to go anywhere hospitals —- [grim reapers favourite hangout] after all, who gives a damn if a 90 year old doesn’t walk out again??????? [me, i am 90 and a strong desire to hit 100]
Think as you get older, the immune system fades a tad, only to be replaced by the survival instinct[ a much more powerful weapon].
A week away from SUPERSHED is quite enough— i did not spend all that dinero building a safe haven for it to remain unused for a week at a time .
Didnt waste the time— wrote another three thousand words for the book —- three new chapters in fact . Been saving the odd shilling or two towards printing and publishing . Must have a word with Roger Duckworth — see if i can get hold of the guy who fronted his dad. [Keith Duckworth].
Was supposed to get the damn thing finished this winter —- but i am ten thousand words and a hundred pictures shy. Spring is fast approaching and i have miles to travel yet .

Jackie - Do you notice that you have a sore throat that tends to get a litter better during the day, but never goes away and is much worse when you get up in the morning? Do you notice that you have a mild cough during the day, but it gets much worse when you go to bed and through out the night? Are you continuously clearing your throat? If yes, then I know what you have and antibiotics will only make it worse....Dr. Bob

Fairly close description ——-whilst not exactly like that —- symptoms are similar. If i could shift the phlegm thats tickling —- i feel that would get shot of the problem. I rarely take AB’s -but im half way through the course now and common sense tells me to continue .
I would be interested to hear your theory though doctor Bob.
