Where do all you guys buy your pump parts from.I need to get some gaskets and seals.I went ahead and pulled it apart to check everything out. A impeller looks good as new.I wonder what the wear ring clearance suppose to be and where to check it.I guess I could use a dial indicator and pull the shaft up to get a reading then half it.That should get me close.Anyone know of anything I can do to the bowl while I have it off to improve it a little ?

Go here:
http://www.americanturbine.com/
The click on the "Support", then "Downloads" then "Overhaul Manuals" then "Berkeley Overhaul Manual". You should find a bunch of useful info there including the clearance info.74' Apollo Starfire 18'

Thanks...Thats some good info....I think I,ll hold off on that project till this winter......Pulling up and down on the shaft I would say my clearance is well within what are saying..Its pretty snug..I would like to sharpen my blades tho...May do that if impeller is not stuck to bad....I need to get those gaskets ordered Monday..

Everyone recommends soaking the threads in something overnight before trying. Here's a pretty good post on home made wrenches:

This one is a classic for getting every suggestion known to man on how to loosen up stuck threads:
