    Hot. Dirty. Work.

If my neighbors didn't think I was crazy yet, they definitely do now.

    Starboard side outer floor gone

Removed starboard string back to the transom knee, not surprising...it was rotten

Center floor removed all the way to transom.

Cut the nose box out a little cleaner

Removed the rest of the foam - def not putting this crap back in. It was all soaked, stinky and heavy as hell

Making good progress. I have a whole new respect for those of you that do this for a living!!

    Couple hours in today.

Removed most of the rear deck support, was not really planning on replacing this piece but I figured why not since I've got the deck off it'll never be easier!

Transom appears solid, have not cut into it anywhere and really trying now too lol!!

Rear deck gone!! Outer stringers gone!!

I'm becoming quite the surgeon with an angle grinder

Next up is removing the center stringer than giving the entire inside a good scrub down and powerwashing. After that I am going to get out the belt sander

Well the center stringer is out. What a beoch!! The rear half was delaminated so it came out really easily, the front half on the other hand took about an hour with an air chisel and pry bar. Not the least bit surprising it was SOAKED.

    Wet rotten stringer

And an hour later, its outta there!

Also had my first oh **** moment tonight while working on the boat. Humming along cutting through the edges of where the bow box was I had a "hmm that felt different" moment and then it hit me that I had cut through the damn hull! Oh well, lesson learned, go slower and don't day dream about how awesome your LTV is going to be while you're operating cutting tools

Fixable I assume? The slices are each about 2" long

And now for the grand finale, I found out my transom is definitely rotten. I am almost somewhat releived though as now I'll know once the boat is back together that its totally solid, just a little disheartening knowing I have THAT much more work now

You can see the rotten/delaminated part near the bottom

Just remeber the laser ride.....dream of lasers.....it will all be good. And yes, the cuts are fixable. Will be easy since you are doing the rest. Just one more item to add to the list. Just try not to step near them or on them to keep from cracking the jell under there.....

    Great job also.....LOOKING GOOOD!!!!!
