1989 Hydrostream Voyager with Mercury Racing 250XS
Selling my Voyager with Mercury Racing 250XS. Boat runs incredible. Engine starts with a touch of the key and never had any issues with it. Always used Mercury synthetic oil and gas additives with every tank. I added Mercury smart gauge last year. The Voyager has some fading in the gel coat typical with the year. Seats are good with no rips. Installed power steering when I upgraded the motor. I've had it going 70 with plenty more to go, but 70 is too fast enough for me.
Will separate the boat and motor.
Trailer in good shape.
$13,000 Boat is in Maine, but can bring it to Mass.
Sorry for the crappy picture, more to come soon.

when you get a chance to post more pics, that would be helpful.
is the floor and transom soft? Have they been redone?
what does it need?
what’s the overall condition?
is the trailer any good?
my 2008 250XS pro only has 212 hrs… I’m either looking for a hull, or going to sell it.Sea ya, Sleekster

Hydrostream Voyager
So you want to take off a great running 250XS, drive the hull to Maryland and put another 250XS back on it?
Just kidding!
Floor had a soft spot a couple of years ago, pulled the carpet, cut out the damage and fiber glassed it.
I have never had an issue with the transom, it doesn't look like it's been done.
It doesn't need anything, I would put it in the water tomorrow and go, but the family wanted a deck boat.
It's a 36 year old boat and has some faded gel coat and blemishes typical for it's age. If you expect it to be a showroom condition new boat, you will be disappointed.
I drive the trailer 2 miles to the ramp twice a year. I would give the bearings the once over before I took it too far, just to be safe.
More pictures to come this weekend.

Fred, what a boat, looks great and now i can see the colors! I am on the Iowa/Illinois state line, other than a vacation to drive out and back, any ideas on how to meet up to look at and test it out? I can't see but does not look like a jack plate? What prop are you using? Thanks for all the questions, take care.

Voyager
I will have some more pictures posted soon. Late snow here and Easter kept me from getting it out of storage. I have no idea how to get it to Iowa. The trailer goes 2 miles each way twice a year when I put it in and take it out. It's in good shape, but I sure wouldn't drive it that far without a complete bearing/hub replacement and a couple of spare tires. It does have a manual jack plate and I run a 24 pitch to pull the kids skiing. It will do 70+ with the 24 pitch and low jack plate.
