Another ev mfg finds out about profit/loss w/o an umbilical cord to the government.
Math that only works for the aoc crowd, that screams at us to accept their directive.
https://www.tradeonlytoday.com/industry-news/taiga-will-require-additional-financingI'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Yes, forget about it, just let the Chinese OWN the market,
If you were paying attention, you might have noticed that the Chinese government funded the start-up of many EV companies,
In China, 30 Billion was spent on subsidies and tax breaks between 2009 and 2022 period,
They now make over 6 million EVs a year. So just go on pretending it's just a Fad for fags, and all will be fine.
PS Just looking at the boats you have owned, I never saw a Laser 480,
But in 1982, I raced MVP with many 380 Ray Laser boats; they turned better than any other V-bottom I know of.
Please expound on the merits of the 480. I'm not familiar with that model.?
Do you have any pictures.?
Joe is on your side...
US President Joe Biden is ramping up tariffs on Chinese-made electric cars, solar panels, steel and other goods. The White House said the measures, which include a 100% border tax on electric cars from China, were a response to unfair policies and intended to protect US jobs.4 days ago

Ever fly to Naples "6"
Any more info on the Jet crash in Naples?
Someone did something wrong to lose two engines with plenty of fuel on board.
Is Rex still with us ?
Here is a few who have died...

Can’t imagine that an electric PWC makes sense.
Weight aside, an application where the motor is 80% load 90% of the time???
Low load canal boats yes, but a PWC?
I guess the aoc/global warming crowd will buy anything elec!I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

It goes 5 knots? It must sail backward in a strong current.

I've been looking at lots of different boats for retirement cruising the IC and the Gulf of Mex ... who knows...
So I'm looking at 40 to 50 ft boats with twin motors, and they top out at 11kn cruise at 8KN, I'm like I don't believe I could handle a boat that slow, I'm looking to travel slow long distance which does not bother me, but If I want to get to a lock, bridge, storm coming that type of thing I want to be able to crack 25 If I want it to, I dig the low fuel consumption of slow, but to be stuck their, NO.
I'm going to see If I can buy just a Vision EV outboard motor to install in the center of my outboard conversion, 14 ft beam motors 10 ft on center, center motor Vision EV just for 8 kns, cover hardtop in solar, I've read used Jap car batteries are the easiest to retrofit in the area where the original motors were, Those new V10 Mercs have 150 AMP charging, two motors putting out 300 amps will charge those batteries fast, from what I'm reading to keep a 30,000 lb boat moving at 8 kns should take less than 50 hp, even it was 70 so what, those Vision 180 HP motors were just turned up to 300 something with a different controller, I saw a Podcast where Shaun said they want to really go fast this year, I believe they want to break the record for outboard boats, which means they need a LOT more power, Shaun is NOT a bull****ter. I plan on going to LOTTO this year to watch.
Now pay attention
