    ...state farm used to be a very good insurance company. have no idea if they still are. bought a new black chevy 454 dually truck in the early 1980's. everyone had them down here then. they were also being stolen, put in containers, and shipped to south america, like hotcakes. had this one for two whole weeks. state farms policy was to wait 4 weeks before a payoff. went to visit them after only one week & they cut me a check for the entire amount...

    My brother had one with Auggie VanDam's name on the side. The boat was an eye opener to many. The squirt from idle to 80 was really impressive for an old 2.4 BP.

    The race version was good at blowing over, It was a Ohio river MVP race and It was one of It's first races, It blew over, we then had a race in centeral NY and the water was very ruff, Roark Summerford would not put his new boats in the water for the Sunday race, I was told they were very light weight, 1984.

    Mine was a 425 lb kevlar river racer with a break away deck. It taught me so much respect and allowed me to learn to fly a boat. I had so much fun in it.
