A few comments. On the positive side Mike creates great content. His seemless and smooth presentation is in the upper echelon of you tube imo. Video artistry is good along with the audio and background music editing. Very cool

On the negatives. I anticipated seeing their second presentation depicting their early morning start at lady liberty and their journey down the Jersey coastline, passing notable landmarks such as sandy hook, shark river inlet, manasquan inlet, point pleasant inlet, seaside heights, barnegat inlet lighthouse, beach haven inlet, passing Atlantic City, the opening of the Delaware River and on past Ocean City Maryland etc etc.

They stated in their early morning they would live feed, and they did not.

They stated in this past episode they almost hit a log but they don’t have a video of that. Damm, Sharkey in his 13 Bullett setting an Unofficial World Record run around Jersey even showed him running aground captured by his cheapo go pro!

I need to see footage, even still pics of this part of the run.
    Thanks

After seeing some of the background and the requirements to do this, I have a lot of respect for the production aspect, and the trouble that the Howe2liv crew of Mike and Sarah go to. But the Atlantic is not an adventure, as I keep saying damn it’s not a 2 foot chop like in the keys. Well, duh! Your boat may run 100 it may run 140 but you’re not gonna do it dressed in Bermuda shorts, T-shirts and tank tops you better have your life jackets on your helmets and be in a capsule of course that would spoil the image of the channel as a casual reality, adventure, boating show. I got to choose one of the other go for the record and be serious or keep making movies for your casual boating fans.

Lots of crickets out there. My comments represent 4 other offshore high performance hot shots. Some from the northeast and some from the west. We are and will continue to question the validity of this run until we have definitive video or pictorial proof from the Howes.
    Thanks

As for the Howes, lost respect due to lack of evidence of this apparent charade WTF folks!!!

Haven’t seen squat on their purported run especially videos past the Jersey shore. It’s a shame that folks abuse these forums to promote their agenda.
    Thanks

They need to play out their ego driven aspirations on a lake somewhere. A place where they can spend the night at a 5 star resort.

    83 V-King, 96 Mariner, ff block 2.5 w/a 28p chopper
Ain't it great to have papa TRUMP back at the helm?

To be honest I grew up on the Niagara River and the Great Lakes,

I've been sailing in storm fronts and ruff seas and I never liked it,

I have total respect for the Ocean and I don't care to get very far from the land

For him to pull off what he did has all my respect, To have a first Mate as good as he has, is one in a million

The way he narrates is exceptional, I was hesitant, thinking It was some rich blowhard like Joe, but He gained my respect.

How2live channel episode three clarified some things for me, but did not answer others. Again it begs the question a serious attempt or reality TV. I’ll give them a seven on the serious attempt and a 10 on the reality TV. Great editing Mike is a storyteller and does keep you in suspense. I have lived in the Keys on big Pine and loved the pictures of the key dear of course this is off subject, but overall the video was great and well done. My recommendation for the next record attempt if you choose to do it like Mission impossible would be a 65 foot V bottom with minimum tankage of 1500 gallons maybe even 2000 with either four or five mercury 600s yes I know this is an expensive proposition but I think Mike has the money and the knowledge to do it and if not there are sponsors out there. So good luck both of you best in life and I am a fan amberjack

Looks like a hotel on the water great for camping out or roughing it! Used to drive through Princeton, New Jersey, when I was in the boat, hauling business, run it up and down the East Coast went right through the campus there of the university, taking the back roads when we were trying to run wide loads off the books and after hours long time ago, best always amberjack
