Yes, I have a home on Georgian Bay, Lake Huron. Toronto as well on Lake Ontario, but live on smaller Muskoka Lakes. Lots of Tuffs on the great lakes. Consider that almost every person that is purchasing the Tuff brand are white collar educated persons. The same that buy Ferrari, Porsche et al. They don't care about scream and fly or anything other than being faster than the next guy.
Your "list" has a lot of calm water puddle jumpers (wide low deadrise). But, you have decided that The Tuff is the calm water boat. Add that you cannot comprehend that light and rough water ability can coexist. Some of the Euro brands are lighter than the Tuff by a long margin yet this is ok in your books.
You are biased, ill informed and clearly have a beef.
Based on the numerous Pm's I get every time you post I am not the only one that notices this. I am just the only one that seems to entertain myself by engaging you.
I think you might have your facts wrong and be the one with the bias as the Tuff 21 has been at the top of The List for many years.

Interesting that you have been here on this thread from the start so I'm sure you know precisely what I mean. Tuff builds an amazing boat, but others on the thread do as well. That has been the point of the fun comparison for 9 years now. The Tuff 21 is the fastest, that is a fact. Try to stick to facts and be a bit less sensitive and thanks for the response.

The Tuff 24 belongs at the top it is 15-20 mph faster than the competition. It better in every way over the 21. It’s running surface is 24’

This is an excellent Wave to Wave article, talking with Mark Weigl. It may be a bit out of date but I think the general philosophy behind Tuff Marine is still the same.

Take what you like from these words spoken by the man himself. My understanding, whilst not saying his boat can’t handle rough water, he does say that speed is a higher priority.

I thought mark made light and heavy versions on all his Tuff’s. Wonder what the speed difference is between the set ups and what the weight difference is. Either way they probably still are the fastest hulls.

The Great Lakes and 21' boats are unlikely partners on most days unless you can find some protected water. As you can see it takes two engines to get to shore quickly when things blow up.

Good point lol, and the boat may handle it but your body will not!!! I was out there a few times in 2-3' waves and it was pretty comfy at 50-60mph with the engine tucked in. Those 4+'s are too much for pleasure boating in something that small though. I had to stay in it hard in the 2-3s once running a Procharged BBC 26' Crownline. I paced him at 70-75 and then ran away at 85-90 but that was a pretty wild run for me.

100%. "Crownline factory water-cooled transom option", "factory extra vibration option" (don't actually faster anything properly), etc etc.
    Don't miss working on them.....
