There has been plenty of twins on 21 and 24 superboats twin 2.5 weigh more than a 450. There’s also a 24 with a heavy g2 300 etec so the 450 would probably be fine in calm water.

I thought the G2 was 550-560lbs, and the 450r is closer to 700.

The 450R is 689 dry, so probably close to 700 with oil.

Twins are a bad idea on the 24, it run high and dry on the pad. Because of motor spacing you would never get the boat to cleanup as it does as a single. They run the motor above the bottom to get speed. These aren’t challengers or progressions, the comparison can’t be made. They seem to like 15” motors… remember this is a 24’ vee that runs over 110 with a single.

Seems that Tuff told us the 28' would be the king of speed before they built the 1st one....I am convinced they were right.

Do the 28/34 get more orders for I/O or O/B power? That would be a tough decision to make, as both are awesome.

Your boys up north seem to be having fun designing hulls around available/upcoming power.

Taking OB powered Vees where they’ve never been.

    And I like it

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
