Looks looks like a center console.
A stand up helm, that scares me silly at speed.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Had a customer years back who had a flats boat with a 135 on it..... running about 30 through a winding canal down there, another boat coming from the other way not adhering to the keep right rule made him cut real sharp and barrel roll the boat. Somehow, the boat ended up right side up and he and his passenger in the middle of the canal. Lanyard killed the motor. They swam back to the boat and collected everything that got tossed into the water including the rods and reels. So, this accident may well not be the fault of the skipper.... nobody really knows the truth of these incidents most of the time.

Regardless of what happened, I'll say a prayer.
It is depressing to read those comments. Shame people always assume the worst about others.-----------------------

We never think that it can happen to us. I believe that sometimes a set of coincidences can make the unlikely happen.

If anyone was thinking I was aiming anything their way, I was not. I was just posting that so people could read what an eyewitness saw, so everyone would know the best line of facts as to what really transpired.
I cant imagine running 60 thru the mangroves down there and losing it.........not good

I believe it was a 21 paramount/300xs , I lived at my dads house in key largo as a young teen for like 2 yrs and have spent many weekends running thru black water sound there is a lot of blind turns thru out that area , I’ve seen more boats than I can count in the mangroves , or the trail they left after they’ve been yanked out , RIP

I stuffed the bow of my river rocket it years ago in one of those canals.
Got stuck behind a huge center console halfway on plane throwing a huge week.
And with miles to go, little choice but to try and maneuver the wake.
Drenched us both but made it through.
It’s tough when you’re down there in the land of Nirvana yet you know you have to try and be responsible behind the wheel all the time.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
