Hahahaha! I dunno who those two guys are, but they’re damn smart to spin around and face each other like that. That’s the best (legal) defence position I’ve ever seen. There’s no damn way that copper could make a case that those guys were “lining up for a drag race”!
“But Your Honour, that allegation is ludicrous! There is no way we could have engaged in illegal racing, because we were each facing the other! We were just having a conversation.”

Ha Ha Funny you ask because whenever I went to to test drag props and set ups I would go to a spot were I could do 1/4 mile blasts. Well one day him and another police boat were chilling and talking and I knew I was going to be breaking laws with speed so I went over and asked them if they had their radar gun with them and they said yes why? I told them I was testing drag props and asked if it was cool I made a few passes and if they would radar me. I had GPS so I knew my speeds but asking for their permission was a good idea anyway
When I made the first past heading straight towards them I then went over to them and asked what my speed was and those two cops almost shartted themselves lol. They couldn't believe I was posted a lil over 100 mph in that distance
That was in my red boat by the way. I never got race the white one.

Hey Pappa Ziemer how the hell are ya? I miss running with you and jeff like we did years ago. Good times for sure. Funny thing, a lot of guys thought they were faster than me top end when I had my drag prop on
Just kidding. I would love to see a pic of us racing in the good ole days if ya have it post it
You and Jeff and those "STOCK" 260'S. Yeah rite! You both had Brad Tressler (i think thats his name) built 2.5's if I remember correctly? I dont remember you beating me top end but I do remember your son Jeff hurting my feelings a few times at alligator lake in his family boat allison lol.

It was on the river east of Alva. I even had my wife in the STV with the stock Brad Tressler built 260.
I was only running low 120's right near the beach where we hung out. I caught hell from my wife for
going that fast. I will try to find the pictures. That old STV sure ran OK. Those days were sure fun.

I said low 120's. Tressler's engines were amazing as they would turn 8500+ rpms.

Ok Pappa Z I was only joking around with you. I honestly dont remember ever racing you for top end but Im sure you would have beaten me. My stock 280 and my 800 plus lb Lightning is no match for a Walley built boat and a Brad Tressler built 260 so you can have the glory
