And taught how to fill up a Triumph Bonneville by shaking the hose and holding a red rag under the nozzle, no gas on the custom paint.

Back when they put some effort into designing cars, how about running the pee boy off the spare tire mounted up front on the old VW bug.

Now you got me going. $.27/gallon, if I put $3.00 into my '65 Beetle I barely made it to the station. And I got paid a whopping $1.85/hour to work the graveyard shift at age 16.

And muscle cars....we were the station with the account for the local Dodge dealer.

Ever jam your thumb into the bumper the rear license plate fold down filler? I had a new Honda Super 90 (bought and paid for Gas Staion dough at 65 cents and hour!) that being a dumb ass kid, bright idea at 15 to leave in gear running and wipe the chain off. Yep lost the tip my thumb in the sprocket. So later, all bandaged up and jammed it in the bumper. DAMN THAT HURT! So I'm back there dancing around in pain, guy comes out like "WTF"? I'm such a dumbass..!

Jerry the head wrench just put a oil pump a 6 CYL chev. Damn thing would not pump oil to valve train. Pours STP on the train and revs it up! Well it was in reverse somehow (getting out after driving in guess) and there she goes, almost through the closed door!! Hes still bent over pouring STP on the floor now with the WTF look face! Damn was he pissed off!
