450 Mercury goes 141

So how fast is the new Red openbow 25' Eliminator with 450's that was just finished up? Should be north of 150mph.....

Or is it a heavy layup that is over #5,000 lbs and slow, old school bottom, and only set up for acceleration and the owner does not want to go fast......
The Eliminator is a beautiful boat, just waiting to hear the high numbers or excuse of why it does not go fast.

I'd consider anything over 80 fast ,(I'm poor boy) but for the $$$$$$$$$ spent I would sure wanna see 150 from a rig like that

Well for your information Ocke Mannerfelt who designed the up side down bat boat that won 25 worldchampionships, also designed that 141 MPH Victory at least he started working for them 13 years ago, It's a very big company large ships to 19 race boats,

He was building them with a divinycell frame and skin, glassed over and faired. Then flipped and glassed, reinforced structure on the inside. Same with deck. Time consuming and tedious to say the least. This method allows the hulls to "evolve" and improve with each one produced.
