I did use two fuel tanks for my Offsore Z-1 Argo/Delicato/Evinrude V6 2.448 liter cross-flow installed down in the pontoons 1978. Not sure if I liked it..many complicated things happened with a single engine and fuel for two hour of racing.

    Thank you Sea Glider.

A friend of mine Jon Lofstrom testing his Bass 25 with 2 X Evinrude V6 3 liter looper Limited Edition 1990.
Not the best quality video but the sound is good.

Well..I guess Cees is using Ziggy to push down the front of the boat to make the prop. change easier..

in post 1685, the #31 boat. I have one of those 88 XP200 carbureted loopers. I love the sound, it reminds me of a big block chevy at idle.
If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

Same Clerici/Evinrude boat from 1974 with my own race #99. In Paris you always was forced to use the number giving to you for that race.

Sold a ton of V6 loopers and 1988 was the first year for the 3 liter looper. Very good engines..little bit on the heavy side.
Thanks for clicking in here Krazymaan.

My mistake although I do have the 88 XP. It has an 87 2.7 Johnson GT hiding under the shroud.
If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

Wonder why Clericis were not brought over to the US? It would appear that they were competitive with the other European boats at the time. I have seen plenty of Molinaris, Scottis , Schulzes and a few Miles and Burgess. Never a Clerici?
