Update - 4/8/2017. RIGGING COMPLETE !!!!!
Of course, as I was doing all the final checks and running the motor for the first time last weekend the Simrad decided to lose its mind. It's back at Navico and I should have a replacement next week. In the mean time I have Vesselview Mobile which explains why I have a Ram mount rigged to hold my phone.
Planning on doing the shake down run tomorrow but I'm going to limit myself since the only gauges the mobile app provides is speed, tach, water temp and voltage. And I still need to do the first hour break in running so the motor will stay lower and the trim level or tucked a bit. No top speed runs till I get some seat time.

Thanks guys.
Now I need to decide whether to do a simple cockpit cover or a full cover. Even sitting under a carport the dust and pollen is a problem. The interior will be covered, I just need to decide if that's enough.
I'm also planning on taking it over to Chris Cruz for some graphics. Not doing a full paint job, just graphics topped with clear. He's already seen pictures and says he has some ideas that can stay within my budget (<$2000) but make it pop so I need to consider protection for that too. Chris is a true artist, I love his work.
Nothing this elaborate, just an example. I'm staying in the gray palet, not planning on adding any other colors. The one below was done on a base yellow gel coat but I believe he cleared the entire boat, I don't remember for sure.

Nice job rigging, and beautiful boat! Your dash and controls are very tasteful.
Have you weighed it yet? Did Todd give you a target for CG?
Can't wait to see how it runs. Nice work, nice ride.
Oh, and you can take the break-in requirement sticker off the cowl now...

We did weight the boat before it left the factory. Boat, motor, jackplate, fuel tank and interior weighed 1963 lbs., 517 front and 1446 rear.
I added somewhere between 150 and 200 lbs between the power steering, battery, wiring cables, etc. to maintain the CG I mounted the power steering, oil tank and battery as far forward as possible and balanced the weight with a slight bias toward the port side to counter act my 200 lbs in the drivers seat. With 30 gallons of fuel I'm estimating the total weight to be ~2300 lbs.
Initial running will be with a 14.5 x 32 Drag 4 built to Todd's specs. Todd is also getting some additional props made by Mercury that I'll test with once it's broken in and I get some seat time.
And the break in tag has been removed

Way cool. Is there any way you can obtain and post the location of each strap to the back of the sponsons at the running surface? I have an Excel spreadsheet that will calculate CG based on your weights and the location of the straps.
Exciting times! And good job on ugly sticker removal...
