Vicious Custom Boats New Carbon Drag Boat

This project has been in my mind for some time, so to get it out of my mind I layed it up this week. Popped it out of the mold yesterday all composite carbon/kevlar 3/4 corecell and bagged. Hull is right at 120lbs, we are going to put a full chrome moly cage and intergrated safty cell.

here are some pics of the build progress

Why would you put a chrome moly cage in it? You're not racing on a hard surface

you'll just have to wait and see, we want a super lightweight boat with safety as our first priority.

I really have no idea, my plan is to build outlaw boat with a break away safety cell. My main focus is on the development of that safety system. In the future I would like to be able to produce a cell that could be fitted to existing boats.

So is it a true tunnel or a mod tunnel with a pad?

Some of the outboard drag boat organizations I am aware of the rule plainly states, "no true tunnels".

Looks nice though. I'd like to see it when finished.
