Heres another one for the "Physics Police" or the "it can't go that fast" crowd

Can you believe a 14' long full bodied CAR powered by a 1200 cc Kawasaki motorcycle engine that will road race at speeds of 185 MPH ? It has a wheelbase of just barely shorter than a 60s muscle car.

I'm going to let all the doubters chime in before I elaborate.

Nope, no turbo, 185 HP regular old Kawasaki ZX 1200 engine, 1400 pound car, nothing really that exotic at all.

    175 MPH with the ZX12 motor, 185 MPH with a ZZR12 motor.

Keep in mind the bikes these motors came off of weighed like 500 lbs or less.

I can't wait to hear from the nay sayers.

This is a road racer, not a straight line vehicle....It has to accelerate out of turns and peak on front and back straights.

Oh yea....it also has big 15x8 wheels and big sticky Hoosier rubber and full on Wilwood brakes.

    It ain't no go kart.

I probably gave too much away and no one will contest the "physics" of it now.....

Not contesting the physics, Radicals have been out for almost ten years. The newest model will top 200mph.

I wasn't speaking of Radicals.....when they come to mind I think of the full on 3 liter ones, but yes they do have some fast 1-1.5 liter ones....

I was speaking of Pro Challenge cars that have full bodies an look like real NASCARS and can hit 185 MPH with 185 HP.

The 1500cc Radicals are awesome though and practically hold the record at Nürburgring as being the worlds fastest production cars.

Anyway....I was just trying to stir up a little fun.....I was sure someone would think it was BS. Some of you guys are pretty sharp though it seems.

I thought that math got hashed out and pretty much proved my point last month.....

I'll put money on it any day....95 no matter what and 100+ in ideal water and atmospheric conditions.

You'd have to sabotage it to make it any different.

How about a 185 hp car that goes 185 MPH....that is WAY more unbelievable.

BTW did you want to see that GPS shot?
