Skater V Hull

Anyone else see the Skater V Hull racing on TV this past weekend?

Was it really a Skater or did the anouncers mess up?

I know they came out with 39ft V-hull Skater. You could see it on the www.lakecumberlandmarine.com web-site.Chuck.

yep, new lucas oil boat replaced old scarab. fast hull, might be more competitive against all them fountains out there

its great if you have to drive on in straight line , its got steps !!!!! if jerry recalls ,the first time it was raced it spun out...

My memory, which may be faulty, is that the boat was intended as a joint venture between another company (Baha?) and Skater. The other company dropped out, leaving Skater to venture into V bottoms.

I have looked at the Skater web site a few times and have not seen the boat listed in their models. Today I was unable to find their web site in a 1 minute google search.

It is definitely a Skater and looks to be competitive. I am tired of hearing FOUNTIAN throughout the entire race. There are other boats in the race.

The Spiderman boat was the first ever 39' Skater V-bottom. They've been racing that boat for about 3 years now. They have always been real competitive.
