Kubasta in white jacket, Gene Treichel bent over in trailer (I wasn't there), Bill Allan is the head above Kubasta (Butler hadn't joined Merc yet), don't remember the name of the guy getting out of the truck, he worked in the stockroom (a good friend of Bob Geary's), the guy manning the tripod is probably Dick Klawitter (hard to be sure when there's no head), don't know who the other cameraman is, seems like I should know the kid by Jimmy, but not sure (Hetzel with hair? )
Always seems to be the same problem with photos. You have the image but the info to go with it has to be explained by someone? Doesn't matter if its a shot taken in the 1940s or a digital one taken with a smart phone. I have scrapbooks full of family photos taken prior to WWII and don't have the slightest clue who these people were or the activity going on. I wish somebody would write some software where you could embed an audio description with an image? Worse yet, cases full of Kodak slides with tiny cryptic notes written on the border (if at all?).

The boat on the trailer in the background looks like it could be a McCall.

Gene Lanham... You are one of a very few people whose pictures really do not need any explanation. If the lightning bolts on the deck don't tell the story, then "Old Blue" does. You can run, but you cannot hide...!!

It has those lines, but the hydro on top of the van looks like stock/mod/alky and there were a few Stock/Mod runabouts with those lines too.

Early Molinari. Pelican Harbor boat ramp. Tested there many times. That is Gene holding the rope. Gene, did you ever race that boat?

That was Lonnie Todd's favorite boat--probably the first Molinari seen in South Florida??. I rigged it with a stock 1250 with power trim--

My TOTAL Molinari seat time is less than two hours---

    Tom Stickle .....

Since you're talking about old rusty things, thought I'd give you a Stickle update.

Heard from Tom yesterday, he's finally back home. He said he is doing better, but not fully recovered. My guess is now that Nurse Marcia is in charge of things, he'll improve rapidly ..... she doesn't take any prisoners.
