Pretty sure that is the Lake Toho main street water front. Like I mentioned before, there was a race in Kissimmee.

Bill Seebold will tell you that the Bristol race committee said that anyone who could win that trophy three years straight could keep it. I think they changed their minds on that because he did not get to keep it. Solid gold. Can you imagine what it would be worth today?

Lake X Kid laments about no Long Beach Sprint Nationals in 2020.

Today on Labor Day Weekend, the summer of 2020 has come and is now leaving.
And a fine annual tradition has been cancelled, this year because of Covid 19.

The city of Long Beach, California has a long legacy of offshore racing, Catalina Ski race, and the
Long Beach Marine Stadium hosting circuit racing.
(And including the Grand Prix of Indy & F1 cars too).
And I have witnessed them all, and have been a volunteer a few times at the races.
But not this year of 2020.

This is unprecedented in my young (I use to be younger) life.
And so here are some of my lamentations.

The class of 2020 did not get to showcase at Long Beach, because of the race cancellation.

Here are some of my pictures of past participants.

Grass roots racing (family affair) did not get to bond, at Long Beach this 2020 year.

Hopefully for the next generation of up and coming drivers, 2021 will be a banner year for racing.

Photos are the back ramp at Long Beach, California.

Sounds good let the parts fall as they will...…...and see which one is more cost effective...…..over drive spur gears or sun planet gears?

Sometimes tooling and machining are financial obstacles, to the dreams on paper.

Which might have applied to Chet Herbert's 1972 Havasu dream,
a Supercharged 3 cylinders with dual cranks and 6 pistons.
