    help with stator

running 2.4 bridgeports, and can't keep the batteries charged. Also runs like dog doo !!!!
I'm wondering is there a stator that puts out more AMPS or VOLTS than the stock version???
I don't have a stereo or any other equip. other than a bilge pump in the boat!!!
Have twins ,so I want to do it right the first time!!!!
Should I replace the voltage reg. at the same time????
The season is over in this area ,but want to have it figured out before spring!!!!

    Simon Motorsports

Simon motorsports makes and alternator kit that puts out 50 amps I believe. You could also go to a 40 amp system but depending on the kind of RPM's you turn, your motors might not like the heavier flywheels. They could be lightened I believe. But with good batteries and a properly working sytem, your 16 amp system should be sufficient. Low voltage will richen up your ECU's and make it run like dodoo.
