Winterization Question 2.4
I have a 2.4 that I pickled last season and did not use this season should I run it and rewinterize it? Rick

As long as any fuel in the engine is stabilzed and you winterized it properly, you can leave it. Of course, it will never hurt to run it again and give it a going-over.

Thanks Greg I just dont trust the gas out here today and wonder if it can be stablized. I ran it dry while dying shooting engines store in carbs and the fuel was stablized and then pulled plugs and fogged and then shot the whole block down with crc56. Rick

The last two times I've pulled my boat out of the water it has had ice on it... It's gettin pretty cold up here....
Personally I would run it again with new stabilized gas. I've never seen a stabilizer actually prevent gas from breakin down, it just slows the process down a lot. Fogg the hell out of it too...yanny
