My buddy had one it went 65 with a 200 merc and a 26 chopper. He blew up the motor and put a 225 3liter and with the same prop went 72 hitting the rev limiter. we never got to try diffrerent props and heights but it probably would have gone faster. 3liter is the way to go.

Are you sure you need a 25" mid? What height is your propshaft now?

Interesting, I thought the only 22' that needed the 25" mid was the progression

You should PM Mr. Clean as he had one of those

It's a 1988 all white with the built in swim platform and setback transom. my son's camera messed up and he erased all the pictures he took when we picked it up. there are a couple pictures on speedwake that look like it. do you still have yours? what are you running for a motor? will this boat run seventies with a 2.5? Thanks Paul

had the same one but sold it. I ran a 200 merc 20' mid 15 inch setback and a 22 chopper 65 MPH. I agree that a 3 liter would do that hull some justice I don't have his info handy but bob saccenti (apache) built that boat and is very friendly/helpful if you call about one of his old boats.best bet is offshoreonly.com you'll find the apache community to be one of the best, once you sort through it's colorful past.
