260/280 parts interchangeable?
Need help with a few questions regarding swapping parts for 260 and 280 blocks.
Firstly, will 280 pistons work in a 260 or not?
Top bearing cap same for both blocks? 260 is big bearing cap.
Head bolts same for both?
Thanks in advance.

Pistons, rods, and most new style crankshafts will interchange.....
Top bearing cap different ( 280 has no place for stator mount as it has a belt driven altenator.......
Head bolts are the same
Good luck ,Jay @ JSRE
