Stv
An STV Euro will run 114 w/ 280 and 34 cleaver!! The River rocket is even faster.
Rocket w/ stock 01-05 DRAG 130 w/ 32 cleaver . Miachel Dixon ran 143+ Good drag w/ NOS in a normal river rocket. The Talon is a cool boat but it might run 105.

I have a 18 Talon and D Rocket is correct a Talon is a Heavier boat but it is also alot more forgiving in the "I did something stupid catagory" They are alot more stable at speed and will take a better chop ( IMAO) on normal weekend traffic. Let me know if you need any more info. Here's a link to my talon 18

I love my STV and can certainly attest from being very new to this boat that its like driving a Lincoln at speed. With my setup, I get little to no bounce when driving through 80 mph and with my somewhat stock 2.4 BP EFI I have hit 117 mph a number of times. Only thing holding me back from higher speeds is the rev limiter and the $$$ for a bigger wheel.
Its almost weird as the drama at such speed is non-existant. It feels as if the boat actually slows when it breaks loose but the GPS is screaming big numbers. I just love it and burned 35 gallons of fuel yesterday on the river without one minute of fear! Well... almost.David "Tango" Wilks
