    Question Need Detwiler Help

I finally got my Detwiler All in One plate mounted and wired. I greased it up at the hydraulic fittings until it started squeezing out the top of the tubes and hit the switch. The pump motor goes on with both up and down actuator, but the darned thing doesn't move. I checked to make sure there were no bolts binding or prohibiting travel. Do they ship these with hydraulic fluid in them?? The owner's manual tells you not to check the fluid level unless it is in the fully up position, yet it is shipped in the down position. How am I supposed to get it up if it won't move (no cracks, wise guy). Any advice. I want to get this thing working this weekend and Detwiler tech support ain't open. Thanks in advance.

    Steve

Just to be clear: the pump motor sounds like it should be sending the ram up and down but does nothing?

I can't think of anything to help with that problem, but I will suggest you keep extra fuses on board. They like to blow fuses.

    Yeah... Exactly Right

I can't figure it out... I thought maybe I had my turn signal wired wrong.. maybe both positions were down, but that would be impossible. There are only three wires and unless red is in the middle, you wouldn't get pump sound in both positions. I also checked to see if there were any obstructions, but don't see any. The only thing I can think is that there is no hydraulic fluid. I don't want to burn out the pump actuating it dry. Dang!! It's always something.. isn't it??
