    Question Speedo pick up tube placement ?

    Need help with pickup tube placement on a v-king
    and what type to get.

    Talking Hey Jerry.......

    I would think that if you're going to be running that VKing at at any kind of speed at all you might want to consider the pitot placement area around the second or third drawer of the tool box and think about GPS. If economics won't permit that, I've had some success putting it as far as possible to the right or left on the backside of the pad and mount it so it has an angle to the outside also. This will disturb the waterflow to the prop the least. Plus will be it'll never leave the water so the waterflow to it will be good. Minus is that everytime you beach or run over a small stick or clump of weeds it'll kick up and possibly get the pickup plugged. I gave up on mine 3 years ago and have just never really done anything yet. I use a handheld GPS.
